WesBanco Bank promoted David Klick to president of the upper Ohio Valley market and senior commercial banker for the bank. In his new role, Klick will oversee strategic direction, business development, client relationships and initiatives supporting communities in the upper Ohio Valley.

“WesBanco is pleased to welcome David to the role of market president for the upper Ohio Valley,” Jayson Zatta, senior executive vice president and chief banking officer at WesBanco, said. “Our market president structure enables us to stay close to our customers and communities and tailor our offerings to their unique needs. I am confident David’s strategic leadership, combined with his deep knowledge and understanding of the market, will help us continue to foster sustainable growth and serve our upper Ohio Valley customers well.”

As a senior commercial banker for the market, Klick will be responsible for growing and developing regional commercial lending opportunities. Klick has 13 years of banking, finance and sales experience. Since joining WesBanco in 2016, he has held positions of increasing responsibility.

“David has been an integral member of our commercial banking team for nearly a decade, and we look forward to continuing to grow our commercial presence in the upper Ohio Valley under his leadership,” Michael Mistovich, senior vice president and senior commercial banker at WesBanco, said. “David’s expertise in commercial banking and his proven record of building strong customer relationships will further strengthen our ability to serve the evolving needs of businesses in the region.”
