VSS Capital Partners, a private investment firm that invests in the healthcare, education and business services industries, hired Michael Gebhardt as a principal. Gebhardt will focus on sourcing new investment opportunities, due diligence, transaction execution, and supporting portfolio company value creation.

Gebhardt has more than a decade of middle-market deal-making experience, including within the business services, healthcare, technology and government services sectors. Prior to joining VSS, he was a principal at Sagewind Capital, where he focused on structuring investment opportunities, origination, due diligence, transaction execution, financing and portfolio company management. Previously, Gebhardt was a vice president at Tailwind Capital and an associate at Riverside Partners.
