Tarter Krinsky & Drogin has added corporate attorney Lawrence Bell as a partner in its corporate, securities and M&A practice, bolstering the firm’s ability to provide sophisticated transactional counsel and building on the practice’s ongoing growth.
Bell joins Tarter Krinsky & Drogin from Golenbock Eiseman Assor Bell & Peskoe, where he served as co-head of the firm’s corporate practice. He brings significant experience advising private equity funds and strategic investors in international and domestic mergers and acquisitions, as well as public and private capital raising transactions, IP licensing and other strategic commercial matters.
“Larry’s arrival underscores our commitment to building a corporate platform that anticipates our clients’ long-term objectives,” Alan Tarter, managing partner at Tarter Krinsky & Drogin, said. “His experience and market perspective further strengthen the firm as we continue to expand our capabilities.”
The firm’s corporate leadership team co-chaired by Guy Molinari and Mauro Viskovic added that Bell’s experience aligns with client demand for cross-border and complex transactions.
Bell works closely with companies, funds and investors across a wide range of industries, including technology, health and nutrition products, specialty chemicals, minerals, power generation equipment, financial services, investment management, communications, technology-related services and consumer packaged goods. His technology experience includes advising companies engaged in the development and manufacturing of proprietary software systems, information technology, medical devices, bio-pharmaceuticals, bioproducts and fermented products.
In addition, Bell has represented clients in domestic and international joint ventures, strategic alliances, portfolio transactions of private equity funds, and the spin-out and reformation of asset management and proprietary trading groups as independent companies.
“What attracted me to Tarter Krinsky & Drogin is the firm’s ability to support clients as they grow,” Bell said. “The depth of the corporate practice positions the firm to achieve results for companies, investors, and funds throughout their full life cycle.”
Bell earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School and his M.B.A. from Columbia Graduate School of Business, and holds both a B.S. and a B.A. from Tufts University. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York and before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Bell is a highly accomplished author and speaker.
