PlainsCapital Bank added Marcus Q. Poole to its Dallas commercial lending group as senior vice president at its Dallas location. In his new role, Poole will continue working with manufacturers, distribution wholesalers and professional, healthcare and service organizations.
Charles Hervey and Scott Allex joined PlainsCapital Bank‘s Harlingen, TX, banking group. Hervey will serve as senior vice president and commercial loan officer, while Allex will serve as vice president and business development officer.

PlainsCapital Bank promoted Sean Mills to president of its Westlake, TX, banking group, Wade Morgan to executive vice president and Michael Ramirez to senior vice president of its downtown Austin, TX, lending group.
PlainsCapital Bank promoted Frank Hastings to Coastal Bend region chairman. Hastings succeeded Gary Wilson, who oversaw the bank’s efforts in the region and retired on May 31 after six years of service.
