Steve Emerson announced the formation of Dry Creek Capital Partners, a special situations investing group formed to provide a platform for investments in debt obligations of distressed commercial real estate and small business debt.
400 Capital Management, a $4.4 billion alternative credit asset manager, hired Quinn R. Barton III to expand its investments in commercial real estate finance. Barton, formerly a managing partner at Carmel Partners, joined as a senior portfolio manager of CRE and CMBS.
Digital asset-based lender InterNex Capital raised $3.85 million from family offices and private investors in an oversubscribed seed offering. InterNex was founded by former GE Capital senior executives.
