SLR Credit Solutions hired Tanner Phifer as managing director of business development, Michael Stavrakos as director of underwriting and portfolio management and Carter Buff as a senior associate for underwriting and portfolio management. In addition, the company promoted George Vartanov to director of underwriting and portfolio management, Jack Murphy to vice president of underwriting and portfolio management and Meghan McDermott to accounting manager.
Phifer will focus on sourcing, originating and structuring new loans in the West and Southwest. Phifer previously worked for Wells Fargo Capital Finance and Wells Fargo Corporate Banking.
Stavrakos also previously worked for Wells Fargo Capital Finance, while Buff previously worked for Raytheon Technologies and Bridge Bank Capital Finance.
Vartanov joined SLR Credit Solutions in 2020 after working in the technology finance group at Wells Fargo Capital Finance and for NewStar Financial.
Murphy joined SLR Credit Solutions in 2022 and previously worked for Santander Bank and in the healthcare finance group at Wells Fargo Capital Finance.
McDermott has been with SLR Credit Solutions since 2013 and previously worked for McGladrey.
