Skyway Capital Markets, a Tampa, FL-based boutique investment banking firm, appointed Andrew Sclater-Booth as senior vice president.

Andrew Sclater-Booth joins the firm as senior vice president with more than 15 years of experience in private equity and investment banking. He has extensive experience in capital raising, merger and acquisition advisory, and debt restructuring and has completed more than $5 billion in investment banking mandates.

Sclater-Booth most recently served as senior vice president – mergers and acquisitions at Dynasty Financial Partners and previously held the roles of chief financial officer and director of mergers and acquisitions for two boutique private equity firms.

Sclater-Booth served as vice president of acquisitions while at Spirit Finance (Spirit Realty Capital), a publicly traded REIT that sold during his tenure for $3.5 billion to a consortium of investors led by Macquarie Capital. Sclater-Booth started his career in the investment banking groups at Société Generale (Mergers & Acquisitions Division), JP Morgan (Leveraged Finance Division), and Salomon Smith Barney.

“The breadth of Andrew’s experience adds a lot of value for our clients and enhances the strength of our team as we deepen our experience across a wide array of industries,” Russ Hunt, Skyway Capital Markets CEO said.

“I see great growth potential in Skyway Capital Markets and am thrilled to join the team to further develop its position as a leading source for advisory and capital raising,” Sclater-Booth said.

Skyway Capital Markets works with middle market companies, public and private, through customized capital services that include corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions and recapitalization.
