SierraConstellation Partners Adds to Team with Three Hires

SierraConstellation Partners hired Bill Partridge as a managing director, Merv Merzoug as a director in the firm’s New York office and Elizabeth Knapp as executive assistant to Tom Lynch, the head of the firm’s Boston office.

“I’m glad to welcome Bill, Merv and Elizabeth to our team as we continue to grow our presence across the country,” Larry Perkins, founder and CEO of SierraConstellation Partners, said. “With so much turbulence in global markets, we see an opportunity for our firm to help middle-market companies navigate what will surely be a defining transition period for our economy. It’s at times like these where turnaround advisers get to roll up their sleeves and show what they’re made of. We’ve built an incredible team at SCP, and we’re ready for anything.”

Partridge will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area, but will report through the Los Angeles office. He has more than 20 years of corporate finance, restructuring and capital markets experience across industries, particularly in the technology sector. Prior to SierraConstellation Partners, Partridge spent several years as an interim manager and consultant to private companies headquartered in the Bay Area.

“I’m eager to get to work with Larry and the team during what is certainly an interesting time to be a turnaround leader,” Partridge said. “Businesses of all stripes are looking for answers in the chaotic world we find ourselves in. My goal is to bolster the case that SCP is the firm of choice for middle market companies who need help.”

Merzoug has more than a decade of experience both as an entrepreneur and as an investment management professional, with a focus on the high-yield and distressed fixed income markets. Prior to joining SierraConstellation Partners, he was the head of strategy and marketing for ARCM, a quantitative fixed income hedge fund, and the co-founder of London Plane Equities (LPE), a biotech firm.

Knapp has worked in multiple industries, including supply chain services, cybersecurity and medical device manufacturing. Prior to SierraConstellation Partners, Knapp was executive assistant to the CEO and leadership team of OnProcess Technology.

SierraConstellation Partners is a national interim management and advisory firm headquartered in Los Angeles with offices in Houston, Boston and New York and professionals in Dallas and Seattle.
