Senate Confirms Powell as Fed Chair

The Wall Street Journal reported Jerome Powell was named the 16th chairman of the Federal Reserve as he was confirmed by the Senate.

The Journal said that an 84-13 vote by the Senate approved Powell, meaning Janet Yellen will end her term on February 3.
