Sawgrass Finance, a Ponte Vedra-based asset-based lender, crafter a multi-million-dollar lending solution for Horizon Auto Logistics, a Florida-based global automotive logistics provider in the automotive industry.
When Horizon Auto Logistics landed a lucrative contract with an international luxury automaker, the team knew they had to meet the moment. The company’s finance leaders approached Sawgrass in search of creative solutions for working capital in order to steward a brand-making opportunity.
“The Sawgrass team listened carefully, then secured the best terms and pricing for our working capital through accounts receivable lending,” Tye Slappey, the company’s head of finance, said. “They provided expert guidance throughout the process and introduced us to a local bank partner for financing.”
Marius Dobren, founder of Sawgrass Finance, said, “Accounts receivable is an undeniable sign of a borrower’s financial strength. Yet few lenders have a box they can check that acknowledges it, especially this early.”
