Roberto Vasquez is the founder and CEO of FactorEvo Group Holdings and a long-standing operator in specialty finance. For more than two decades, he has worked at the intersection of factoring, capital markets and financial technology, focused on redesigning how capital is deployed across transportation
and trade.
He originally built and exited FactorFox, one of the industry’s first cloud-based platforms, and later reacquired it to modernize its infrastructure for an intelligence driven, event based operating environment. His work is
driven by a structural observation. Risk in freight and trade moves in real time, yet much of specialty finance continues to rely on episodic underwriting and manual review, creating preventable exposure.
To address this, Vasquez is advancing an event driven, signal based framework powered by artificial intelligence that shifts underwriting from document review to continuous verification. In this model, capital no longer relies on paperwork and trust. Intelligence is embedded directly into core systems to certify events as they occur, reducing fraud exposure and strengthening audit defensibility before capital is deployed. This architecture is being applied across FactorEvo, FactorFox and iProveedor to unify how intelligence governs capital, credit and operations.
By embedding artificial intelligence into the operating core, compliance, covenant monitoring and portfolio performance can be evaluated continuously rather than through periodic reporting cycles, allowing firms to identify risk earlier and operate with greater precision.
Beyond his U.S. operations, Vasquez is expanding access to capital in Latin America through iProveedor. He is the author of Signals and has been recognized internationally for advancing artificial intelligence across specialty finance.
