While the EU successfully leverages receivables finance, the American market is hampered by a reliance on traditional, slow and fraud-susceptible systems. Thomas recognizes while artificial intelligence offers limitless
potential to expedite invoice verification, it requires more thoughtful application to scale. To bridge this gap, he developed structures centered on client-focused engineering and agentic AI, proving there is no longer a reason for these financial markets to remain constrained.
Thomas and his team achieve their objectives through a culture of radical accountability and the swift implementation of new ideas. Whether it is a suggestion for mandatory proof screenshots or using hyperscaler LLMs for code reviews, if an engineer’s idea makes sense, it becomes policy within a week. “I take the blame when production breaks. The team gets the credit when it doesn’t,” Thomas explains. “Once that’s real, people stop being careful and start being honest. That’s where good ideas come from and how we can marry the power of agentic AI with the creativity of talented people.”
