Post Road Equipment Finance (PREF) added Brian Meres to its risk team as a senior vice president. In his new role, Meres will primarily be responsible for new business underwriting and will also have portfolio management responsibilities. He will report to Katherine Branch, chief risk officer of PREF.
Meres joined PREF from Speedwell Partners, where he was chief financial officer and chief risk officer. Prior to that role, Meres spent 10 years in transaction advisory and 18 years in a variety of risk and portfolio management positions, including 12 years at GE Capital.
