PlainsCapital Bank added a new lending team to serve the Denton area. Ernie McGee serves as president, James E. Posey and Alex Eysermans serve as senior vice presidents and commercial loan officers, while Kevin Hodge serves as commercial loan officer, and Jeanette Hoffman serves as senior lending assistant.

“PlainsCapital Bank is excited to welcome Ernie and his team as we expand our operations in North Texas,” said Texas Region Chairman Steve Hambrick. “The group has a wealth of financial services experience in the Denton market, which will enhance our ability to foster commercial and real estate relationships while serving our clients’ banking needs in the area.”

The new Denton banking group marks PlainsCapital’s latest expansion in Texas, after opening new branches in The Woodlands and Lubbock last year.

“PlainsCapital’s strong reputation and relationship-first approach have helped it to become one of the leading banks based in Texas,” McGee said. “I’m thrilled to join such a respected organization and continue serving the vibrant Denton community with a talented team by my side.”

McGee joined PlainsCapital from Independent Bank, where he led a commercial lending team as market president in the North Texas area. He has 31 years of banking experience, including 13 in the Denton market. McGee serves as a business representative on the Denton ISD Educational Improvement Council, a board member for the Denton Public Library Foundation, and is a member of the Denton ISD Adopt-A-School program.

Posey has more than 25 years of banking experience, most recently as a principal business relationship manager at Wells Fargo. In his prior role he managed a $52 million loan portfolio and provided financial solutions to business owners and commercial real estate investors across Texas.

Eysermans joins PlainsCapital from BBVA Compass, where he held several roles over 10 years, including commercial relationship manager and professional and private banker. He has 19 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Hodge joined from Independent Bank where he was a banking officer in commercial lending. He has seven years of banking experience in North Texas. He is chapter president for the Denton County Ducks Unlimited, serves as treasurer for the Denton Evening Rotary Club, and is a member of Denton Young Professionals.

Hoffman joined PlainsCapital from BBVA USA where she served as a senior relationship support specialist supporting a team of relationship managers. She has over 35 years of financial services experience.
