Wilmington Trust hired Amy Perkins as an M&A relationship manager and Greg Stites as a client development officer. Both will be based in the firm’s growing Dallas office.

Wilmington Trust established the Dallas office in 2012 to provide support for public finance, business escrow, M&A, and corporate debt deals in Texas and surrounding states. Wilmington Trust’s global capital markets division has dramatically grown its M&A practice in recent years, offering escrow agent, disbursement agent, and paying agent services, as well as investment options and 1099 tax reporting services.

“We couldn’t be more pleased to bring Amy and Greg over to our team,” said Patrick Trainor, senior vice president in Wilmington Trust’s Global Capital Markets division. “Together they bring more than 50 years of expertise in the financial industry. They’ll fit right in with our experienced team, which has consistently provided first-rate service for many years to our rapidly growing customer base.”

As client development officer for the M&A team, Stites will be responsible for directing the sales and marketing efforts for Wilmington Trust’s escrow and paying agent services throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and New Mexico.

He brings 26 years of banking experience to Wilmington Trust, with 20 years invested in corporate trust roles, overseeing sales for a broad array of products, along with expertise in trust administration and management. Stites previously served as a business development representative for Wells Fargo covering the Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas markets.

Perkins joins Wilmington Trust with over 27 years of corporate trust experience, administering both corporate and municipal transactions. Over the past 12 years, she focused on managing M&A and corporate escrow products. Prior to joining the company, she worked for Wells Fargo in the Corporate Trust division and in similar positions at Chase and Bank of America.

In her new role, she will be responsible for developing and managing escrow and paying agent services for the bank’s clients and prospects throughout the region.
