People’s United Bank promoted Liam Ryan to vice president and portfolio manager for healthcare financial services and Ryan Zyskowski to vice president and relationship manager for healthcare financial services. Both Ryan and Zyskowski will be part of a dedicated team specializing in providing financial services to healthcare companies across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states.

Ryan joined People’s United Bank in 2017 as a credit analyst supporting the Massachusetts portfolio. Since then, he has been promoted multiple times, including into his new role as a vice president and portfolio manager. His current responsibilities include managing a portfolio of clients across the bank’s footprint, assisting all four relationship managers with new business generation and managing two other portfolio managers on the healthcare team.

Prior to joining the bank, Ryan was with Nasdaq Financial Services in its global corporate solutions line of business.

Zyskowski joined People’s United Bank in 2017 as a portfolio manager supporting the Connecticut and New York portfolios. His responsibilities included managing a portfolio of existing clients across the bank’s footprint and assisting relationship managers with new business underwriting. In his new role, Zyskowski will maintain certain portfolio management responsibilities while also transitioning into a relationship management position with a focus on new business generation.

Prior to joining People’s United Bank, Zyskowski began his career in commercial banking at TD Bank, graduating from its credit training program in 2011. He worked at TD for more than six years and held roles as a credit analyst, portfolio manager and relationship manager in its Connecticut C&I department.
