Terry Novetsky joined Kramer Levin’s securitization and structured finance practice as a partner. Novetsky represents financial institutions, private equity funds and specialty lenders in asset securitization, secured lending and global trade finance transactions. He comes to Kramer Levin from King & Spalding, where he was a partner, and will be based in the firm’s New York office.

“Terry’s appointment brings additional breadth and depth to our innovative and industry-leading securitization practice,” Paul H. Schoeman and Howard T. Spilko, co-managing partners at Kramer Levin, said. “We are pleased to welcome him to Kramer Levin and to be able to offer the benefits of his outstanding experience to our clients.”

Novetsky has particular experience in loan asset securitizations, healthcare finance and trade securitizations. He has represented some of the most active lenders in healthcare finance transactions, as well as senior lenders and money center banks in restructurings, including bankruptcy debtor-in-possession and exit facility programs.

“We are delighted to have Terry join the Kramer Levin team,” Gilbert K.S. Liu, securitization and structured finance chair at Kramer Levin, said. “Terry’s appointment deepens our bench in asset classes that are central to our securitization practice, and he brings extensive experience in asset classes that represent new opportunities for us.”

Prior to his tenure at King & Spalding, Novetsky spent 26 years at Kaye Scholer (now Arnold & Porter), where he served as partner.

“I am very excited to join Kramer Levin’s Securitization and Structured Finance practice, which has a well-earned industrywide reputation for excellence and innovation,” Novetsky said. “I look forward to working with my colleagues to leverage the many promising synergies with my practice and Kramer Levin’s outstanding structured finance platform.”
