Scott K. Levine joined Moritt Hock & Hamroff as counsel. Levine will continue his practice in the firm’s creditors’ rights, restructuring and bankruptcy and secured lending, and equipment and transportation finance practice groups.

“Our firm is extremely pleased to add Scott Levine to the team. He brings over 35 years of expertise in a results-driven legal career,” Marc Hamroff, managing partner of Moritt Hock & Hamroff, said. “Scott has worked with and against many MHH attorneys throughout his career on bankruptcy, commercial banking and equipment leasing matters. We have come to know him well and we are thrilled to add him to the team. We are confident that he further strengthens our practice as we continue to grow and expand our services nationwide.”

“Joining Moritt Hock & Hamroff is an excellent opportunity for me and represents a vital next step in the professional journey of my practice,” Levine said. “I look forward to enhancing the firm’s core values of collaboration and strength in partnership while helping to build and support close and trusted relationships with our clients.”

With more than 35 years in the legal field, Levine’s experience includes assisting clients in corporate reorganization, bankruptcy, leasing, secured transactions, litigation, commercial and residential real estate, commercial foreclosure, corporate and collections law.  He has represented Chapter 11 creditors’ committees, secured lenders, equipment lessors, insurance companies, individual unsecured creditors, Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 trustees, landlords, debtors-in-possession, and both filed and unfiled liquidating companies. Additionally, Levine also serves as outside corporate counsel to various companies and institutions. Prior to joining Moritt Hock & Hamroff, Levine served as the managing partner of Platzer, Swergold, Levine, Goldberg, Katz & Jaslow in New York City.
