Mitsubishi HC Capital America hired Todd Witmer as senior origination leader for asset-based lending. Based in southwest Michigan, Witmer will be responsible for scaling the company’s growth plans by connecting with business owners and referral partners to assist clients with their working capital needs.
“Todd is an established leader in the commercial finance industry,” Mike Semanco, president and COO of business finance for Mitsubishi HC Capital America, said. “We are excited to have him join our team, as his extensive experience and history of success in growing markets will allow us to expand our presence throughout the Midwest.”

Witmer’s previous position was president of southeast Michigan at Mercantile Bank. Prior to that, he held executive commercial banking and lending roles with Fifth Third Bank, Union Bank, JPMorgan and GE Capital. Additionally, he has worked in various corporate and finance positions assisting the executive suite.
