Mi BANK appointed Scot Lund executive vice president and director of small business lending. In his new role, Lund will introduce and oversee a new digital platform that allows small businesses to obtain credit.

Lund has experience as a financial and operational executive, with specific experience in equipment finance, asset-based lending, credit underwriting, construction, manufacturing, foundries, hospitality, wholesale distribution, transportation and service industries. Most recently, Lund served as division president of Crestmark Vendor Finance.

“Scot is a seasoned banking executive who has significant experience in the small business digital space,” Rob Farr, chairman and CEO of Mi BANK, said. “We feel very fortunate that he has joined our team, which is committed to becoming the preferred bank to business owners in the state of Michigan.”

Lund has been recognized by Crain’s Detroit Business as a “40 Under 40” honoree and by Ernst & Young as an Entrepreneur of the Year nominee.

“Mi BANK is making a significant impact on metro Detroit’s business banking community through its tailored approach to service,” Lund said. “I’m excited to join this team and help launch a new platform that will help us deliver an even better banking experience for our clients.”
