Citizens Commercial Banking hired Don Mastro as head of asset-based lending portfolio management.
“Don is an experienced banker who delivers value-added ideas and terrific service to our clients and we are very happy to welcome him to the Citizens team,” Brent Hazzard, head of Citizens’ transitional finance and asset-based lending group, said. “As a team, we will continue our focus on providing the great ideas and execution capabilities that our clients need for every stage in the life cycle of their businesses.”
Mastro, who will be based in Chicago, most recently managed a team of professionals overseeing $6 billion of assets as the central region ABL portfolio management leader at Bank of America. He has held a variety of ABL roles over his 25 years as a senior banker, including origination, underwriting, field examination and trainer.
