LendingPoint, an online loan origination and servicing platform, appointed Mark Freeman as chief financial officer. Freeman will oversee all corporate finance, including accounting, financial planning and budgeting, treasury as well as the company’s capital markets programs.

“Mark has extensive experience building high-performance teams in both finance and capital markets,” Shawn Stone, CEO of LendingPoint, said. “He is deeply respected throughout the consumer lending industry and the structured finance ecosystem. “I am excited to join Shawn and the LendingPoint team at such a pivotal time for the Company and look forward to seizing the huge market opportunities ahead of us,” Freeman said. “The energy, focus and commitment of not only the management team, but also LendingPoint’s engaged and supportive investors all point to a great future for this company.”
