Piper Jaffray hired David Lee as a managing director within its financial sponsors coverage group. He will be based in the firm’s New York office.
Lee joined Piper Jaffray from Houlihan Lokey, where he was part of the firm’s financial sponsors group. In this role, he originated and executed M&A, capital markets and restructuring transactions for leading private equity and hedge fund clients.
Prior to Houlihan Lokey, Lee worked as an investment banker and private equity investor at Stone Key Partners, Altaris Capital Partners and Lehman Brothers. He is a graduate of Harvard University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics.
