Director of Product Management
Solifi

Kasey Hobson loves digging into problems and exploring how she can add value to customers and their businesses. Over the past 12 years, she has worked across multiple industries with a strong presence in business-to-business software-asa-service offerings. Her passion for product management has grown over the years, helping her to create frameworks and operationalize how to bring products to market.

She has also built strong relationships with technology leaders, which has led her into more technical pockets of product management like data, analytics and platform. This ultimately led to her current role as the director of platform product management at Solifi.

One of the biggest challenges Hobson has faced in product management is balancing competing priorities. “You have requests coming from leadership, customers, sales, technology and everyone else — and they want it yesterday,” Hobson says. She is responsible for driving outside priorities with Solifi’s vision and mission at both a company and product level. She believes providing transparency and fostering collaboration are the keys to success.

width=“By focusing on [these priorities], you build trust with your teams and stakeholders so that you can tackle delivering value products,” Hobson says, noting that helping clients and colleagues understand prioritization, the value of what’s being delivered and how teams work through the discovery, development, testing and launching process, leads to success.

In the future, Hobson’s biggest goal is to continue to be a mentor and share her experience with others. Her deep-rooted passion for product stems from the joy she gets in helping others tap into their own superpowers. As a woman in a very male-dominated industry, Hobson especially wants to be a role model to other women. She finds it empowering to share her growth with others and help them pave a path forward in their own careers.
