Iron Horse Credit hired Kristen Palmer as a business development officer. In her role, Palmer will be responsible for identifying new territories and partnership channels and building new client relationships.

“I’m extremely excited to join Iron Horse Credit, grow their inventory lending division and work alongside such skilled and experienced team members,” Palmer said. “I look forward to building upon the strong industry presence that [the] Iron Horse Credit team has built within the industry.”

Palmer has more than 10 years of experience in asset-based lending, with a focus on stand-alone inventory finance. She has spent much of her career with boutique lending firms in the New York and South Florida areas developing sales, operations and underwriting teams. Palmer currently serves as board member of the South Florida chapter of the Secured Finance Network.

“We are excited to welcome Kristen to the Iron Horse Credit team. She brings a depth of knowledge in the asset-based and inventory lending space that will continue to scale our strategic approach to specialty finance,” Cesar Silva, vice president of business development for Iron Horse Credit, said. “With Kristen’s relationship-based approach, we look forward to continuing building our referral partnerships and client outreach across different industries.”
