Huddleston Joins A&M as Managing Director

Jeffrey Huddleston joined Alvarez & Marsal as a managing director in the firm’s Houston office.

A 20 year industry veteran, Huddleston specializes in advising distressed companies, lenders and creditors on both in-court and out-of-court restructurings and turnarounds. His primary areas of concentration include interim management, restructuring, business plan and strategy development, liquidity management, distressed mergers and acquisitions, and analysis of creditor recoveries.

“Mr. Huddleston’s two decades of experience in restructuring and distressed transactions will be instrumental as we help our clients navigate today’s challenging economic climate, particularly for those in the energy sector,” said Jeff Stegenga, leader of A&M’s North American Restructuring practice. “Mr. Huddleston’s expertise and unique understanding of the energy space will prove to be invaluable for our clients in Houston and across the country.”

Huddleston’s previous assignments included stints as CFO of Saratoga Resources, financial adviser to the unsecured creditors committee of C&J Energy Services, financial adviser to Buccaneer Resources, financial adviser to Delta Petroleum, financial adviser to the unsecured creditors committee of LINN Energy and financial adviser to the unsecured creditors committee of Green Field Energy Services.

He was most recently a managing director at Conway MacKenzie and helped start their energy advisory practice in Houston. Prior to that, he led the strategic planning groups for two large publicly held companies. Huddleston started his career in the Global Energy Corporate Finance and Economic and Financial Consulting groups at Arthur Andersen.
