Heather Rachel joined Hitachi Business Finance’s business development team.

Based in the greater Minneapolis area, Rachel will assist businesses by providing access to working capital while focusing her efforts on supporting business owners and trusted advisors across the United States.

“Heather is an exciting new addition to our team and is an established leader in the factoring and asset-based lending industry,” Mike Semanco, president and COO of Hitachi Business Finance, said. “We’re looking forward to leveraging her strong experience as we work to expand our presence across the upper Midwest, all while connecting with trusted partners across the country.”

“This team has long been dedicated to forging and sustaining deep client relationships,” Rachel said. “By joining such a trusted, established group, I can be confident that our clients will receive the highest standards of attention and support.”

Previously, Rachel served as vice president of business development for the Midwest for Republic Business Credit of New Orleans. Prior to that, she held roles with Bibby Financial Services and Transfact Capital. Additionally, she has worked in various corporate finance and consulting capacities assisting the executive suite.

Rachel holds board and committee positions with several professional organizations, including the Turnaround Management Association, the Risk Management Association and the Association for Corporate Growth. She is also the author of The B.I.G. Plan.
