H.I.G. Capital expanded its European middle market LBO team with the addition of Rohin Jain as a managing director and Nishant Nayyar as a principal. Both will be based in H.I.G.’s London office.

Jain has more than 15 years of experience in private equity covering a range of sectors, regions and investment strategies. Prior to joining H.I.G., he led the healthcare sector team at Triton Partners. Prior to that, he worked at Mistral Equity Partners and UBS Investment Bank.

Nayyar has more than 13 years of private equity experience, investing across the technology sector, including tech-enabled services, telecoms, software and business services. Prior to H.I.G., he was a principal at Apax Partners where he spent 10 years in the TMT industry and led several investments. Before that, Nishant was a private equity investor at Warburg Pincus and started his career as a consultant at Bain & Company.

“We are delighted to welcome both Rohin and Nishant to the firm,” Markus Noe-Nordberg, head of the European middle market LBO team at H.I.G. Capital, said. “They bring a wealth of knowledge and experience that will prove invaluable to the team as we continue growing our European middle market LBO activities.”
