in News

Grant Thornton hired Ravi Bansal, Shyam Bhaskar, Rick Garcia and Alan White to serve in its growing Enterprise Technology Strategy and Innovation Advisory Services (ETSI) business line. Bansal joined as a principal and national Commercial Advisory Services leader, while Bhaskar, Garcia and White joined as managing directors.

All four will help CIOs solve challenges and operate more effectively through innovative technology, including new approaches in enterprise strategy, architectural design and technology business management.

“Ravi, Shyam, Rick and Alan boast a combination of proven leadership skills and tremendous industry acumen – making them ideal additions to the ETSI practice,” said LaVerne H. Council, national managing principal of Grant Thornton’s ETSI practice. “CIOs are facing more challenges than ever before. Bringing on executives of this caliber further enhances Grant Thornton’s service offerings and the firm’s ability to provide value and solve the CIO function’s most complex issues.”

Based in Alexandria, VA, Bansal has more than 20 years of experience orchestrating technology, strategy and design to help clients uncover new sources of growth. He previously was a partner at IBM, where he led digital strategies and solutions.

Based in Bangalore, India, Bhaskar has more than 25 years of experience in technology, strategy, innovation, digital solutions and business functions. He previously served as chief operating officer of a Diageo Subsidiary.

Based in Chicago, Garcia has more than 25 years of experience building successful, high growth and profitable businesses across diverse technical environments. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, he served as a senior practice leader with firms such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Cisco Systems and Hewlett Packard.

Based in Dallas, White has more than 30 years of experience working with clients through the full solution lifecycle – from strategy to development and implementation – to expand market share and find new opportunities for growth. Previously, he was an associate partner in the Watson Health Consulting Services practice at IBM.
