Gibraltar hired Lisa DeSantis Adams as the newest member of its business development team as a SVP and business development officer for the West Region.

Adams is an experienced leader who has accrued more than 25 years’ experience working in bank and non-bank lending environments through originating, structuring and managing debt financing. With specialties in leveraged finance, mergers and acquisitions, structured finance and asset based lending, Adams’ diverse background will serve the rapidly-evolving needs of GBC’s clients.

In her role, Adams is responsible for originating middle-market, asset-based loan opportunities across the Western United States. Prior to joining Gibraltar, she was a senior vice president with UMB Capital Finance, and served as a managing director and vice president for several financial institutions — most recently at UMB Capital Finance and Sterling National Bank.

Collectively, Adams’s robust experience includes originating asset based and cash flow loan facilities with NewStar Business Credit, Wachovia Capital Finance, Merrill Lynch Capital Healthcare Finance, BMO (Harris Nesbitt) and Fleet Capital.

“The entire Gibraltar team looks forward to Lisa’s contributions to our organization and support for our diverse, growing client base,” Anthony DiChiara, head of sales at Gibraltar, said. “Lisa’s extensive background across different lending environments will help us continue to serve the unique needs of companies of all types and sizes.”
