FTI Consulting appointed Danelle Larsen a managing director for office of the CFO solutions practice within the firm’s corporate finance and restructuring segment.

Based in Los Angeles, Larsen has more than 20 years of strategic, financial, operational and restructuring experience across a range of transactions involving finance, treasury and accounting teams. She rejoined FTI Consulting from a West Coast-based finance consulting firm.

“I am delighted for Danelle to rejoin FTI Consulting,” Gina Gutzeit, leader of the office of the CFO solutions practice at FTI Consulting, said. “CFOs face increased challenges and demands from boards of directors, stakeholders and other internal and external sources alike. Danelle’s diverse experience driving financial strategies and solutions make her a great asset to our office of the CFO solutions team and our ability to deliver impactful results for our clients.”

Larsen’s has industry expertise with consumer products, agriculture, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, manufacturing, hospitality and entertainment. Most recently, she served as interim controller for an international agricultural company, where she oversaw the accounting team after the company’s initial public offering.

Prior to her work as interim controller, Larsen served as interim treasurer for a $700 million consumer packaged goods and agriculture company, where she assisted with the day one transition activities. She also focused on treasury platforms, cash maximization, debt structure and interest rates, as well as the management of corporate insurance programs.

“I believe it is the interactions between clients and teams that drive results and satisfaction, and FTI Consulting is an established leader in that regard,” Larsen said. “I am excited to rejoin FTI Consulting in the office of the CFO solutions practice and leverage my unique set of experiences to continue building our presence on the West Coast.”
