FTI Consulting added five new U.S.-based professionals to its Business Transformation practice and expanded the practice to China with the appointment of Senior Managing Director Bill He as leader of said practice in Shanghai.

The recent hires included Senior Managing Director Jiva Jagtap and Managing Directors Kurt Eichhorn, Greg Kuhn, John Singel and James Wolf.

He relocated to Shanghai from McLean, VA, to lead the firm’s Business Transformation offering in Asia.

“Today’s business leaders are dealing with massive disruption to their core businesses, regardless of geography, and our experts work alongside our clients to help them anticipate and stay ahead of these challenges,” said Carlyn Taylor, leader of the Business Transformation practice. “The addition of our new senior managing directors and managing directors and the extension of our services to China continue our commitment to bring first-hand industry knowledge and functional expertise to help companies drive value wherever they may do business.”

He will work with clients across Asia, with a particular focus on China. He has over 25 years of experience in global operations strategy, business development, product design, sourcing and international and multi-culture business.

Jagtap, based in Denver, rejoins FTI Consulting and brings over 20 years of experience advising companies on complex assignments in the telecommunications, media and technology industry, including carve-outs, merger integration and business strategy.

Eichhorn, based in New York, has more than 25 years of corporate and consulting experience, transforming businesses through organic growth, mergers and acquisitions, complex carve-outs, operational improvements, back-office consolidation and restructurings.

Kuhn, based in Washington, D.C., has more than 30 years of strategic IT experience and has consulted with a wide range of small, mid-market and global companies.

Singel, based in Dallas, has more than 25 years of consulting experience in all aspects of strategic IT across many industries, including telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, manufacturing, aerospace, financial services, insurance, state and local governments, consumer products, utilities and automotive.

Wolf, based in Charlotte, NC, has more than 15 years of interim chief financial officer and executive experience. He provides executive finance leadership consulting to Fortune 500 and middle-market private equity portfolio companies.
