Focus Management Group served as financial advisor to Gabriel’s Liquor in the company’s acquisition by Omega Capital Group after Gabriel’s Liquor’s Chapter 11 filing.
Headquartered in Texas, Gabriel’s Liquor is a packaged store retailer in the greater San Antonio area. Gabriel’s operated 33 stores under the names Gabriel’s Liquor and Don’s & Ben’s Liquor.
On Oct. 5, 2020, the sale of the business was successfully completed to Omega Capital Group. The sale closed through the Chapter 11 plan of reorganization process in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas, San Antonio division. The Focus Management Group professionals involved on the engagement included Juanita Schwartzkopf, senior managing director, and Vlad Altmark and Stan Grabish, managing directors.
