Flatbay Capital added Jesus Becerra as a business development officer in Austin. Becerra has extensive experience in banking, finance and business development. He will report directly to Scott Deal, Central Texas market president, and spearhead the initiative to grow Flatbay’s influence by helping small businesses in turnaround and developing professional relationships within the CRE landscape.
Becerra started his career in banking in 2006 and from there has launched several businesses, worked as a commercial lender at respective companies, performed business consultation coaching for various local businesses and, most recently, successfully managed and completed four projects.
Becerra lives in Buda, TX, with his family. He has served on several non-profit boards in the area and is currently an active board Treasurer of the Wayside Schools.
