First Citizens Bank’s CIT Commercial Services subsidiary named Jason Goldberg as a regional sales manager dedicated to increasing new business in the Northeast. Goldberg will be responsible for managing a team of business development officers focused on building strong customer relationships, as well as identifying, sourcing and closing factoring deals across a variety of industries. Based in New York, he will report to Amna Mahmood, Northeast regional manager for CIT Commercial Services.

“We’re pleased to welcome Jason to our team,” Mahmood said. “His extensive experience in sales management, as well as his track record of delivering tactical results and strategic vision, will benefit CIT Commercial Services as we continue to expand into new industry verticals.”

Goldberg brings over 20 years of banking experience to First Citizens, having most recently served as chief lending officer at Blue Foundry Bank, where he was responsible for P&L management and sustainable performance improvement of the bank’s lending business. He also held several roles focused on delivering working capital and asset-backed solutions at various financial institutions including Israel Discount Bank of New York, Crestmark Bank and Westgate Financial.

Goldberg holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from State University of New York at Binghamton.
