First Citizens Bank named Joe Kernan a new relationship manager in its healthcare finance business, which part of the bank’s CIT division. Kernan is based in Pasadena, CA, and will support healthcare clients in the western United States. More specifically, in his new role, Kernan will focus on healthcare asset-based lending to provide working capital solutions for mid-sized to large businesses.
“Joe brings his deep industry knowledge and proven track record in commercial banking to help middle market companies achieve their growth objectives,” Mike Coiley, managing director of healthcare finance at CIT, said. “We are delighted to welcome Joe to our team and look forward to his success as we continue to grow our business.”
Kernan joined First Citizens Bank with 25 years of experience in commercial finance. He has previously served as a relationship manager at Pacific Western Bank, BBVA, PNC and, most recently, Fifth Third Bank.
