eCapital Promotes Gillespie to Chief Human Resources Officer

eCapital, an alternative finance provider in North America, promoted Jaime Gillespie to chief human resources officer. In her new role, Gillespie will oversee employee engagement, talent management and leadership development, as well as the alignment of the company’s workforce and the establishment of a unified corporate culture.

As a people-centric leader, Gillespie is tasked with building the strategy and vision for eCapital’s human resource initiatives, including engagement, performance and compensation.

Gillespie previously served as the vice president of human resources for eCapital’s freight factoring division and has been with the company since 2018. She comes into this new role with more than 20 years in financial services. Her experience is across a multitude of areas in HR, including customer service, leadership, and project and change management. Gillespie is a certified coach with the Gallup organization.

“We are excited to have Jaime join our executive management team and oversee this critical part of our of organization,” Marius Silvasan, CEO of eCapital, said. “With this newly created position, Jaime will be leading the charge to help us build a collaborative corporate culture and prioritize the true foundation of our organization: our people.”
