Dorsey & Whitney Adds Moore as Finance & Restructuring Partner in Phoenix

Law firm Dorsey & Whitney hired Kate Moore as a partner in the firm’s finance and restructuring group in Phoenix.

Moore advises lenders at all stages of financing transactions. She represents an array of clients, including international financial institutions, life companies and regional and specialty debt funds. In addition to her real estate finance practice, Moore also has transactional workout experience.

Moore joined Dorsey & Whitney from Quarles & Brady, where she was a partner and served as the national chair of the firm’s financial services industry team.

“It is great to be able to work with Kate again. Kate strengthens Dorsey’s banking and financial institutions group and increases our finance bandwidth not only in Arizona but across the country,” Scott Jenkins, Dorsey & Whitney’s Phoenix office head, said. “It is exciting times at Dorsey.”

“I’m thrilled to join Dorsey and be a part of an office with such an exciting growth trajectory,” Moore said. “I have had the opportunity to work with many of the attorneys in the Phoenix office previously, and joining a team with such established strength and depth will only further benefit my clients, who join me in my enthusiasm about this opportunity.”
