Wells Fargo Arranges $625MM CLO for Maranon

in News

Maranon Capital closed its third collateralized loan obligation (CLO), Maranon Loan Funding 2018-1. The $625 million middle-market CLO was arranged by Wells Fargo Securities.

The transaction is structured to be dually compliant with both European and U.S. risk-retention regulations, has a two-year non-call period and four-year reinvestment period.

“The successful issuance of our third middle market CLO continues to broaden Maranon’s senior funding sources and represents another important building block for our growing private credit platform,” said Darin Schmalz, principal at Maranon.

Maranon Capital is an alternative investment management firm focused on private credit investments in middle market companies.
