Advisory, assurance and tax firm CohnReznick hired Ryder Mathias, CPA, as a tax partner in its affordable housing practice, the firm’s largest division.
Based in Charlotte, NC, Mathias has nearly 15 years of experience providing tax services to clients across the community development spectrum. With a focus on tax-incentivized real estate inclusive of tax planning and compliance, Mathias is also well-versed in partnership and individual tax.

Before joining CohnReznick, Mathias was a tax partner at an accounting and advisory firm serving real estate clients. He earned a Masters in accounting from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a BA in communications from Wake Forest University. Mathias is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Public Accountants.
