Clifford Chance Hires Third U.S. Private Equity Partner Vince Ferrito in New York

Global law firm Clifford Chance hired Vince Ferrito, private equity partner, following the recent arrivals of David Schultz and Matthew Hinker to its U.S. private equity and restructuring and insolvency practices. All three partners joined from O’Melveny.

Ferrito brings deep private equity experience advising on strategic commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings, recapitalizations, minority investments, divestitures, corporate governance matters and other complex corporate transactions. In addition to representing private equity sponsors and other corporate clients, his prior work also includes representing buyers and sellers of sports franchises in various professional leagues such as the NFL, NHL and MLS.

“The arrival of Vince to the growing U.S. team signals the ongoing client demand for high quality legal advice across an incredibly active market,” Sharis Pozen, regional managing partner for the Americas at Clifford Chance, said. “I look forward to seeing him, and his former teammates David and Matt as they integrate with our global platform advising across sectors around the world.”

“Vince adds further depth to our US private equity team and reinforces our ability to offer a global perspective on developing private equity trends and issues,” Jonny Myers, global head of private equity for Clifford Chance, said. “His hiring is also part of our strategic and focused plan to further build out our US PE practice.”

Clifford Chance has added 16 senior hires in the U.S. so far in 2024.
