Heritage Global Valuations (HGV), a division of Heritage Global Partners, added Derek Carrus to its valuation team. Carrus will be based in Heritage’s Boca Raton, FL office.
Carrus has nearly 20 years of experience performing valuations of industrial, wholesale and retail inventories in a variety of industries. He most recently served as a valuation and liquidation consultant to several nationally and internationally recognized appraisal firms as well as asset-based lenders and corporations. His work history includes the position of director of the consumer products inventory appraisal practice for an internationally recognized appraisal firm with responsibility for hiring, training, and managing junior appraisal staff; as well as completing complex valuation engagements, project review, and marketing.
