Jeffrey Pielusko has rejoined Carl Marks Advisors, an investment bank offering financial and operational advisory services to middle-market companies, as managing director, focusing on operational and financial restructurings. In addition, Aadil Khan has been promoted to vice president.

Pielusko’s more than 15 years of experience includes in-court and out-of-court restructurings, acquisition advisory services, strategic advisory roles, stakeholder negotiations, interim management positions, complex debt and equity offerings, and over 30 transactions across multiple industries.

“Jeffrey’s experience and leadership will be invaluable as we provide innovative solutions for our clients,” Jonathan Killion, partner of Carl Marks Advisors, said. “We look forward to leveraging his expertise and insights as we continue to grow our practice.”

Before rejoining Carl Marks Advisors, Pielusko worked on the capital structure advisory team at Raymond James’ investment bank. In this role, he advised clients on structuring and placing debt and structured equity solutions, distressed M&A transactions and credit agreement amendments and extensions. Pielusko began his career in financial services at Citibank, where he structured trade finance solutions for Fortune 500 companies.

Khan, who joined Carl Marks Advisors in 2022, works closely with company owners, management teams, boards of directors, private equity groups, lenders and investors on corporate mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, leveraged buyouts and capital raises across various industries.

“Since joining the firm, Aadil has proven to be an important contributor to the continued growth of our M&A group,” Chris Parisi, partner of Carl Marks Advisors, said. “We congratulate him on his elevation to vice president and look forward to leveraging his expertise, work ethic and insight.”

Before joining Carl Marks Advisors, Khan was an investment banking analyst at Lincoln International and served in transaction advisory services with Ernst & Young.
