Cambridge Wilkinson Set Company Record for Capital Raising in 2021

Cambridge Wilkinson reported that it had a company record year in 2021 in raising credit and debt facilities and as well as equity for its clients. Cambridge Wilkinson’s raises in 2021 generally ranged from $25 million to $500 million in size, with an ability to scale up to and more than $1 billion.

Some of Cambridge Wilkinson’s transactions for the year included:

  • A $300 million credit facility for a non-bank real estate client to grow its platform
  • _x000D_

  • A $150 million litigation finance credit facility
  • _x000D_

  • A $300 million leverage facility for a specialty finance company that provides liquidity to institutional asset managers and alternative managers
  • _x000D_

  • A $265 million full capital stack for an ESG-focused specialty finance company that specialized in financing ESG oriented projects and businesses
  • _x000D_

  • A $300 million specialty finance/credit asset management mandate
  • _x000D_

  • A $110 million senior debt facility for a recapitalization on multi-family properties
  • _x000D_

  • A $35 million specialty finance first lien structured credit co-investment
  • _x000D_

In 2022, Cambridge Wilkinson believes there will significant demand for flexible and creative credit solutions for specialty finance companies and non-bank real estate bridge and construction lenders as well as continued strong demand from private equity and private credit fund clients for flexible, low cost and customized fund leverage facilities, NAV facilities and GP financing credit facilities (non-dilutive).
