Cadence Business Finance added Oz Lindley as senior vice president and managing director of originations for the Southeast. Lindley is based in Atlanta.

Lindley has more than 30 years of senior secured lending experience. At Cadence Business Finance, he will be responsible for originating and structuring asset-based transactions to middle- and upper middle-market companies throughout the Southeast.

“Oz has a long history of serving middle-market companies and supporting their success,” Norbert Schmidt, executive vice president and director of business finance at Cadence Business Finance, said. “His depth of experience and client focus will deliver incredible value for our clients and teammates in Atlanta.”

Prior to joining Cadence, Lindley was vice president of business development for First Business Bank. He previously held various business development, underwriting, credit and portfolio management positions at CapitalSource (now Pacific Western Bank), PNC Business Credit, RBS Business Capital and Comerica Bank.

“I am excited to join such a customer-focused and motivated team, and I look forward to supporting the growth of the Cadence Business Finance portfolio and providing excellent client service and strategic guidance to help clients achieve their goals,” Lindley said.

Lindley is involved with the Turnaround Management Association, the Secured Finance Network, the Association for Corporate Growth and the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors.
