Byline Sponsor Finance (BSF) opened a new office in the SouthPark area of Charlotte, NC, and added Wes Oakford and Eric Bostic as vice presidents. The new office and expanded team will further help to deliver senior secured financing solutions on a national basis to private equity partners. Oakford and Bostic join a team led by Dan Delgadillo, managing director and co-head, BSF.

“We’re excited to bolster our Charlotte team and move into a new space that will allow us to better serve the marketplace,” Delgadillo said. “We see a great deal of opportunity in the market and are continuing to add seasoned team members who can support private equity-backed lower-middle-market buyouts.”

Oakford joins Byline with a decade of experience in cash flow lending for private equity buyouts, recapitalizations and add-on acquisitions. Prior to Byline, he worked at Barings in the Global Private Finance group responsible for underwriting and monitoring senior and mezzanine debt and equity investment opportunities for middle market private equity transactions.

“I’m excited to join Byline’s sponsor finance platform at a time of strong momentum built off the group’s demonstrated success. I look forward to being a part of the team’s positive trajectory,” Oakford said.

Bostic joins Byline with more than 10 years of experience in cash flow lending, debt capital markets and private equity. Prior to joining the BSF group, Bostic worked for a Durham, NC-based family office, where he specialized in underwriting private equity and credit deals as well as assisting portfolio companies with debt capital markets needs. He also previously worked for Vanguard and LPL Financial where he performed investment manager due diligence

“I am thrilled to join Byline at a time of strong growth both for the bank and the Sponsor Finance group. I look forward to contributing to the continued success of the platform,” Bostic said.
