Sheherbano R. Mirza joined Blank Rome’s Chicago office as an associate in the finance, restructuring and bankruptcy practice group.
Mirza is the latest addition to Blank Rome’s national finance team, which recently welcomed partners Joseph M. Welch in Orange County, CA; Mirlande Telfort in New York; Cynde H. Munzer in Chicago; and David E. Kronenberg in Washington, D.C., and Cincinnati. She is also the latest addition to the firm’s Chicago office, which added partner Bill Katris in early March.
Mirza concentrates her practice on representing financial institutions, lenders and funds on financing and restructuring matters. She has previously represented businesses in single to portfolio acquisitions and operations transfer transactions involving term and accounts receivable financing, as well as financing insured by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, aggregating hundreds of millions of dollars. She has also counseled clients on various corporate governance and diligence matters.
