Global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal’s (A&M) global transaction advisory group (global TAG) has appointed Htike Htike Kyaw Soe as a managing director within its global transaction analytics (GTA) unit. In her role, Kyaw Soe will help shepherd artificial intelligence, technology and strategic analytic initiatives to strengthen insights across all stages of the transaction lifecycle.

Kyaw Soe boasts nearly two decades of AI and analytics leadership, specializing in scalable platforms that enable smarter decisions and measurable value creation. She specializes in pre- and post-acquisition analytics, early-stage assessments and the embedding of next-generation technologies into M&A and divestiture strategies.

“No matter the market conditions, A&M’s focus is always sharp and steady on helping our clients capitalize on opportunities and navigate complexity,” Paul Aversano, managing director and global practice leader of global TAG, said. “The dealmaking environment commands enhanced diligence rigor coupled with creative problem-solving and value creation; analytics and AI are key differentiators in that feat, and it’s why we continue to invest in our GTA unit to empower clients with accelerated insights that drive smart decisions. Bringing in new senior talent like Htike Htike’s is essential, whose tenured fluency in analytics and AI in dealmaking helps us ensure we cast the sharpest analytical eye for our clients and stay at the forefront of transaction analytics innovation.”

“Smart analytics is a competitive necessity, and our continued investment in the area helps us maintain our edge for clients,” Anthony Caporrino and Stacy Kirshner, managing directors and co-leaders of TAG U.S., said in a joint statement. “Htike Htike will strengthen our ability to deliver data-driven insights and transparency for clients across the transaction lifecycle. From pre-acquisition through exit, our expanded analytics services help clients plan, execute and maximize returns amid disruption. We’re thrilled to bring her into the senior roster bench of GTA to help us do just that.”

Prior to joining A&M, Kyaw Soe pioneered and built data analytics and AI solutions that leveraged broad sets of data to deliver actionable insights during the deal lifecycle and transformations. She also built and led a deal analytics team at KPMG that executed hundreds of projects for private equity and corporate clients across a range of sectors. In addition to her time at KPMG, Kyaw Soe was previously a partner in Meta’s marketing science practice, where she led its global initiative to help clients navigate industry shifts through adoption of innovative marketing strategies.

“Adding Ms. Kyaw Soe to our team reflects our long-term strategy to expand Global TAG’s analytics platform beyond traditional diligence,” Steven Lee, managing director and global leader of A&M’s GTA unit, said. “Her experience will be particularly valuable for mid-market companies, many of whom have historically been underserved by traditional data science approaches. Ms. Kyaw Soe’s expertise in applying cutting-edge technologies enhances our ability to anticipate market shifts and provides clients with the insights they need to act decisively. By incorporating practical analytics into their deal strategies, A&M helps these businesses compete on an equal footing with larger players.”

“I joined A&M because of its agile, entrepreneurial culture and ability to invest quickly in people in areas where the market is underserved,” Kyaw Soe said. “A&M’s integrated platform and flexibility allow us to deliver analytics solutions that grow with clients and the market. Clients don’t just need more data; they need early, actionable insights that drive transformation and lasting value.”
