Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) appointed Brooke Hopkins a managing director in the firm’s disputes and investigations (DI) practice. Hopkins specializes in global and internal investigations, as well as internal controls remediation, compliance monitorships, and environmental, social and governance (ESG) compliance and risk programming.
Leveraging more than 25 years of financial advisory and strategic consulting experience, Hopkins has conducted complex and cross-border forensic accounting investigations around Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), UK Bribery Act, anti-money laundering (AML) and other regulatory matters. She has also led governance diligence across environmental, health and safety measures. Additionally, she advises clients on compliance program development and interim management, internal control reviews, operational and process improvement, litigation analysis and corporate sustainability reporting directive (CSRD) and other environmental regulation matters.
Hopkins develops innovative solutions for corporate compliance and ESG monitoring and has worked on-site and with matters involving foreign companies and subsidiaries located in North America, South America, Asia, Middle East and Europe. She works with clients across multiple industries, including leisure and hospitality, technology, retail, transportation, healthcare and life sciences, manufacturing, oil and gas, insurance, public sector, financial services and media and entertainment.

Prior to joining A&M, Hopkins spent 18 years with AlixPartners, where she most recently served as partner and managing director. While there, she oversaw global and domestic ESG, corporate investigations and compliance and risk engagements for multinational companies.
