AlixPartners, a global consulting firm, appointed Michael Glaschke as a partner and managing director. Glaschke brings more than 20 years of experience advising clients in Europe across the chemicals, energy, basic materials and automotive industries, among others. His expertise spans functional excellence, corporate finance, M&A, strategy, operations and more. Glaschke is based in Munich and will advise clients across Europe.
Previously, Glaschke was a senior partner at McKinsey, where he led their transformation services for the energy and materials sector as well as co-led the corporate and business function practice in Europe. In this role, he helped organizations enhance their performance by aligning their operating models with market opportunities and business strategies, improving EBITDA and achieving sustained growth. Glaschke was widely recognized for his leadership in the chemicals, energy and basic materials industries. He successfully advised companies on improving operational efficiency, enhancing financial performance and developing strategies that create long-lasting value.
Glaschke holds a PhD from the University of Erlangen-Nuernberg.
